A Heartfelt Note: Venessa’s Next Chapter

After an incredible 42-year career of artistry and connection behind the chair, our founder and leader, Venessa Lanier, has made the decision to officially retire from behind the chair effective April 1st.

While she is retiring from styling, she isn’t going far—Venessa is absolutely staying on as our Owner. She will remain a constant presence in the salon, dedicated to ensuring our team continues to provide the premium experience and high standards that SSV has been known for 35 years.

As Venessa shared in a recent letter to her guests:

“I never expected that a 42-year career as a stylist would give me some of the most important relationships of my life… My greatest reward is the friendship we have shared over these many years.” Her commitment to this community and her team remains her top priority.
